THE FIRE & FURY OF ROCK ‘N’ ROLL!
January 29th, 2012Mickey Bo’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Revue hath Fire and Fury this week, but it’s not what you think. True, rock is the devil’s music, but I’m actually referring to the names of the two record labels from which all but one of my songs for this show come — Bobby Robinson’s old Fire and Fury labels from Harlem, which supplied a substantial number of rock’s early tunes. Check the playlist below. To listen on Destination Doo Wop or Radio Fairfax, click on a link to the left on the desired day and time.
